Zero intolerance?
Again an innocent young boy got killed barely few days after the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh came to Srinagar and promised that human rights violations won't be tolerated. Dr Manmohan Singh had assured Kashmiris of zero tolerance on human rights abuses. Where is the Zero Tolerance Mr Prime Minister? As per the news reports a teargas shell hit Tufail Matoo's skull which resulted in his instant death. One fails to understand why smoke shells are fired directly on body parts of protesters and that too on head? The teargas shells can be fired in air and they are essentially meant for that. Teargas shells have killed many people in Kashmir in the past years and this graph has increased manifold. Government is a mute spectator to this mayhem. The accused cops must be tried in the court of law for killing people in such a manner. The two decades of conflict has made our state "Andheer Nagree" and all of us (not cornering Police only) do what we feel is good. Nobody abides by the law and the same attitude leads to "Chowpatt Raj"
