Integrated textile park to come up in Varmul

Varmul, June 16: To give boost to traditional industries including all handicrafts and handloom items, Integrated Textile Park for marketing of these items would come up for which 182 kanals of land has been identified at Singpora village of Pattan in Varmul district.
 The park shall have the facility with all basic requirements like common facility centre, school, hospital, post offices, bank marketing outlets and exhibition hall would be provided in one cluster.
 This, according to an official statement, was today given out during a meeting with representatives of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries presided over by Deputy Commissioner, Varmul.
 On this occasion, the revenue agencies were on the spot directed to submit all the revenue extracts for occupation of land so that project report indicating necessary requirements for construction of park and budget allocation to the tune of Rs. 40 crore are submitted to the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It was told that the project will provide support from artisan to exporters and would also help people from the industries from product manufacture to its marketing.
