13 officials of Irrigation division Handwara suspended

Srinagar, June 17: Government today ordered suspension of 13 officials of Irrigation division Handwara with immediate effect on the basis of preliminary inquiry conducted by Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Kashmir, for their alleged involvement in some irregularities.
The officials suspended in pursuance of Rule 31 of J&K (CCA Rules),1956 include Er. Muhammad Sarwar Dar, presently posted as Superintending Engineer, JK PDC, Er. Khazir Muhammad Khanday, presently posted as AEE, Irrigation Division, Ganderbal, Er Bashir Ahmad Kakroo, presently posted as AEE, J&K, PDC, Er. Altaf Hussain Wani, AEE, Irrigation Division, Handwara, Ghulam Rasool Sofi (Lala) Head Assistant, Shah Faisal, Senior Assistant (Camp Clerk), Nazir Ahmad Lone, AAO, Irrigation Division, Handwara, Saif-u-din, Senior Assistant, Irrigation Division, Handwara, Akther Hussain Sofi, Junior Assistant, Irfan Ahmad Pathan, Draftsman, Akther Mohi-ud-din, Draftsman, Mushtaq Ahmad Banday, Draftsman and Ibrahim Banday, Draftsman.
