Misinterpreting book

Riyad Azmad's article titled "Women's Place" misrepresents Justine Hardy and her excellent book "In the Valley of Mist". The book makes it very clear that many Kashmiri women, especially in the villages go uncovered. The author never talks about wearing a burqa, only that she covers her hair in certain neighbourhoods. Anyone who reads the book for himself will see that she is accurate and fair about all sections in Kashmir.
