20 DLL trained students bring laurels to KU

Srinagar, June 1: Twenty students of Kashmir University have qualified the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), coaching for which was organized by Directorate of Lifelong Learning, KU.
With a view to help aspirants from Kashmir to compete in AIEEE, Directorate of Lifelong Learning had introduced coaching and counseling early this year.
DLL provided coaching to number of aspirants for AIEEE which was a first of its kind in Valley where experts from National Institute of Technology, Srinagar groomed students.
Amir Latief, Sadaf-ul-Noor are among the 20 selected students.
Amir ranks at 22 with 203 points, while as Sadaf ranks at 29 with 184 points.
“For my success credit goes to LLD where I got all inputs and guidance” said Amir Latief.
Sadaf ul Noor said: “I owe my thanks to DLL for playing an important role in preparing me for AIEEE. I was lucky to get guidance from the able teachers in the programme.”
Expressing delight over success of students, Programme Incharge Zahoor Akram said. “I am really overwhelmed to know that our students who were enrolled in the programme won us laurels. I congratulate them all”.
Meanwhile , Director DLL , Dr. Neelofer Khan congratulated the successful students and maintained that such programmes will be conducted every year by the Directorate with a more intake capacity.
She said she was thankful to the Vice Chancellor KU for all possible support and encouragement which made the programme a success.
