Admirable views

This refers to the box letter titled “Basic amenities first, artificial lake then' by Dr. Shahid Rasool. The views expressed by the writer are highly appreciable. He has raised the core issues because most people in our valley lack basic facilities. In rural areas women are still going to the ponds to fetch water as they don't have drinking water facilities in their homes. We just go on upgrading the schools without the needed infrastructure. There are many issues which the writer has beautifully raised. I agree with him when he says 'O God, give us enough wisdom to think positively for the growth of society.'
