Reasi, Jun 1: In the ongoing All India 6th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship National Cricket Club-B (NCC) Reasi and Banaras Cricket Club (BCC) Reasi won theior matches at Sports Stadium Reasi ground.
In the first match NCC won the toss and selected to bat first. Batting first, NCC scored a total of 185 runs in their stipulated overs by losing their 6 wickets. Arif and Danish scored 63 and 32 runs besides from DCC Akash and Raman took 2 and 1 wickets. In reply DCC failed to chase down the target and was allout for 114 runs. Bijinder and Raman scored 25 and 13 runs while from NCC Kali and Bunty took 2 and 1 wicket. Arif of NCC Reasi was declared as Man of the match for his best batting performance.
In the second match BCC won the toss and elected to bat first and scored a total of 159 runs by losing their 7 wickets. Vivek and Rahul scored 31 and 25 runs. From MCC Kali and Mehran took 2 and 1 wicket. In reply MCC Reasi failed to chase down the target and scored only 139 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Happy and Mushtaq scored 39 and 33 runs respectively. While from BCC Ajit and Faisal took 4 and 2 wickets. Later on Ajit of Banaras Cricket Club Reasi was declared as Man of the Match for his best bowling performance.
