People protest for ration in Budhal

Rajouri, June 19: Inhabitants of Targayeen village of Budhal area on Saturday disrupted traffic to protest against the CAPD department and concerned Tehsildar for their alleged failure to ensure supply of ration.
 Shouting slogans against CAPD, Tehsilsar and a local dealer, the aggrieved residents demanded action against them. They staged a sit-in disrupting vehicular traffic for many hours. Later on the assurance of some senior officers of CAPD and police, the protesters peacefully dispersed. 
 The Assistant Director CAPD Rajouri, Kewel Krishan said that the matter has been resolved. “We have assured the people to look into their complaints,” he said.
