Probe demanded in woman’s death

Rajouri, June 19: The family of a woman who died in Sub-district hospital Surankote on Saturday accused the doctors of negligence and demanded action against them.
 Reports said Kulsoom Mughal wife of Gulshen Mughal of Moori village suffered brain hemorrhage on Saturday night and was rushed to SDH Surankote in a critical condition.
 “However, the doctors took it as a case of poisoning and started washing the patient’s stomach. Even her blood pressure was not checked. She died due to negligence of the doctors. The accused doctors should be punished,” the relatives said.
 Meanwhile, the Chairperson Jamaat Ali Shah Foundation , Perveiz Mughal also demanded a probe of the matter. Despite repeated attempts, the hospital management and doctors were not available for comments.
