The College, once known for its tourism and fashion technology programs, has been renamed as Integrated Technology & Future Management College. The change in its nomenclature from Institute of Tourism to Integrated Technology and Future Management has been necessitated in view of many emerging career avenues in the field of management, technology and media and entertainment which ITFT College has recently introduced,” it said in a statement.

 “To fructify its mission, ‘Education with Employment’ all these years, ITFT College has now emerged as a premier educational, training and research institution with more than 2000 students,” it said.

 Affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar for Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Courses, ITFT College expanded its spectrum of activities which also includes serving the youth of the North Eastern Region, re-occupation of retired defence personnel and tapping the rich potential of the Indian diaspora, besides many other programmes. Spread over picturesque 6 acres against a hilly backdrop, ITFT College campus offers world-class infrastructure. State of the art digital classrooms, enriched library with books, journals, magazines, DVDs, VCDs and LCDs, well-equipped computer and internet labs, personal grooming labs, students recreation centres, playground, basket ball court, cafeteria makes ITFT College campus one of the best institutions in the region, it said.
