Meira inaugurates photo exhibition

Srinagar, June 20: The Lok Sabha Speaker, Meira Kumar today inaugurated developmental photo exhibition “One picture is worth ten thousand words” organized by the Information Department in connection with 75th Presiding Officers Conference held at Legislative Assembly Complex, here today. As many as 130 photographs were displayed in the exhibition.

 The photo exhibition gives a glimpse of developmental activities of the coalition led by Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah.

 Meira Kumar while having a round of the exhibition evinced keen interest in the photographs.

 Kumar was accompanied by Speaker, Assembly, Muhammad Akbar Lone, Deputy Chairman Legislative Council, S. Arvinder Singh Micky, Deputy Speaker, Assembly, Muhammad Sartaj Madni, Parliament Members, Muhammad Shafi Uri, Sharief-ud-Din Shariq and other officials.
