Tara stays away

Jammu, June 20: The convention at Nagrota was another manifestation of deep rooted factionalism within the state Congress unit with the conspicuous absence of deputy chief minister, Tara Chand, who was also in the winter capital and preferred to stay away from the function. While three minister and MP remained stocked at the rally throughout the day exhibiting full loyalty to Soz group, deputy chief minister spent his whole day at his official residence, except spending  a moments at Shoba Yatra.

 Tara Chand, till recently, was considered to be close loyalist of PCC chief Saif-ud-Din Soz. However, insiders believe that the former is trying to maintain distance from the Soz group of the party from last around one month.
