Women have to strengthen movement: Aasiya
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, June 20: Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syeda Aasiya Andrabi on Sunday urged Kashmiri women to strengthen the ongoing movement.
Addressing a massive religious convention for women at Baitul Muqaram Varmul, Aasiya said Kashmiri women have an imperative role to strengthen the movement by extending proper guidance and education to the children. “Unfortunately, our children have made the cricketers and film stars as their role models. It is the responsibility of the women to channelize the energy of our youth towards taking the movement to its logical conclusion,” she said.
Accusing New Delhi of executing Israeli policies in the Valley to suppress the aspirations of Kashmiris, Aasiya said the teenagers in the City were being killed according to a plan.
“Like Palestines, the genocide of Kashmiris is going on unabated. New Delhi wants to eliminate our younger generation to subjugate the ongoing movement for the right to self-determination,” she said.
