KUTA condemns killings
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, June 21: Kashmir University Teachers Association (KUTA) has condemned the killing of two more youth in the City in the past two days terming it “genocide of Kashmiris.”
A KUTA spokesman said: “This genocide of Kashmiris must be stopped at any cost, or it will have the worst consequences.”
“The main reason for continuance of the worst type of human right violations is the presence of draconian laws like AFSPA and presence of the security forces camps and bunkers in populated areas,” he added.
“Such killings will continue if the AFSPA is not revoked and Kashmir not demilitarized,” the spokesman said.
The KUTA condemned the use of “unbridled force” on innocent people protesting against the “state terrorism and killing of youth.”
The spokesman accused the state government of “remaining in preferred slumber when the Valley particularly the summer capital was on fire.”
