RR man commits suicide

Srinagar, June 21: An army man allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle inside a camp in Kupwara district of north Kashmir, police said today.
Havaldar Gulshan Kumar, posted with 28 Rashtriya Rifles, was on sentry duty at the camp in Sogam, 100 kms from here when he shot himself dead last night.
The reason behind taking such an extreme step was not known immediately, the police said, adding a case has been registered and the investigations are on.
