Not interfering
This refers to arguments by Shri Leela Karan in response to Geelani’s plea that the Amarnath Yatra should be restricted to 15 days. In the first place, let me remind Shri Karan that it was the Kashmiri pundits who made fervent appeals to Geelani on a number of occasions, urging him to “interfere” in the protection of temples and here in Kashmir from the outside encroachers. Geelani’s interfering in the religious affairs of Pandits is a debatable matter. However it is beyond any doubt that Shri Karan and Co. are interfering with nature which, if not stopped forthwith, would lead to environmental disaster in Kashmir.
