Revoke AFSPA

This refers to a statement by a senior army officer that AFSPA is a holy book .The law which can give license to troops to kill Kashmiris in fake encounters can not be holy. Misuse of laws like PSA, AFSPA, and Disturbed Areas Act has resulted in routine killings and arrests of innocents illegally and unlawfully. Many youths have gone missing after being picked by various agencies under the cover of these draconian laws. Successive governments have failed to give a true account and whereabouts of these unfortunate people leaving their relatives in a state of shock and mental torture. Such laws need be revoked in the interest of people.
