Crime Branch to observe drug abuse day

Srinagar June, 23: In connection with the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26, the Crime Branch Kashmir is organizing a number of activities like symposium debates, slogan writing competition, besides organizing a cycle race at Government Polytechnic College Gogjibagh.
A police handout said: “The illicit use of Narcotic Drugs is badly affecting our community especially the school/college going children and in this endeavour the day is being organized internationally in order to spread a message regarding the dreadful effects of this menace in the society.”
