Council employees defer strike

Srinagar, June 24: The J&K State Sports Council employees deferred their strike after meeting Sports Minister, RS Chib at civil secretariat here on Thursday.
The employees apprised Minister about the difficulties faced by the employees with regard to delay in implementation of 6th pay commission benefits. The Minister in the meeting gave some assurances to employees and asked them to defer strike first. The suggestion of minister was discussed by employees in meeting and decided to defer their strike.
