Governor visits Devki Arya Putri Pathshala

Srinagar, June 24: In connection with the centenary celebrations of this school founded in 1980, the Governor, NN Vohra, Thursday visited Devki Arya Putri Pathshala Girls High School at Hazuri Bagh.
An official handout said: “The Governor, who was taken around various classes by Prakash Kour, Principal of the School. He interacted with the children and their teachers and enquired about the contents of the syllabus of different subjects.”
Vohra also viewed an exhibition of various articles and science models prepared by the students, which formed a part of the centenary celebrations, and appreciated the creative talents of the children.
The President, Arya Samaj Trust, Veena Chandhok, welcoming the Governor, dwelt on the aims and objects of setting up this institution and the action plan evolved for its future growth.
