LoC trade touches Rs 250 cr mark

Varmul, June 24: The trade across LoC through Salamabad Uri and Chakoti Muzaffarabad route has gone up to Rs 250 crore so far since its inception.
 During the period 242 consignments stand exported and imported from both the sides.
 This, according to an official statement, was disclosed by the trade custodian at Salamabad Uri today when Red Chilli and dry coconut worth Rs. 2.56 crore were exported through 87 trucks while as carpets, chappls and dry fruits with a cost of Rs 4.52 crore were imported through 41 trucks.
