SKIMS to host Pediatric Surgery Conference from June 26

Srinagar, June 24: Department of Paediatric Surgery SKIMS is organizing a two-day conference on healthcare from June 26 in collaboration with the North–West zone chapter of the Indian Association of Paediatric Surgeons, an official handout Thursday said. The inaugural function will be held at Nigeen club at 10 AM.
The handout said: “Reputed Paediatric Surgeons from various parts of country including Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmadabad, Rohtak, Patiala, Amritsar, Simla, Army Medical Core and local faculty are participating in the conference.”
“The main aim of this conference is to provide a platform were young and budding surgeons will get an opportunity to interact with leading surgeons of national and international fame. Presence of people like Prof. K L Narsimahrao, Head Department of Paediatric Surgery at PGI Chandigarh in the conference will be a real privilege because of his experience of running one of the best centres of this type in the country,” it added.
