Tufail Matoo’s picture on front page of GK on Saturday (June 12, 2010) disturbed me a lot as it was hard for me to believe that the young boy is no more. I believe newspapers must refrain from publishing such gory images. Tufail’s death is very unfortunate and every one of us should protest it. Media’s role is to guide people through dedicated writings and creatively captured images which can have a serious impression on the minds of readers.
