Srinagar, June 25: In a significant development, the Governor NN Vohra Friday discussed the arising security scenario with the Director General CRPF at Raj Bhawan here.
“The Director General, CRPF, Vikram Srivastava, called on the Governor here this evening. The Governor discussed with Srivastava some of his concerns about the arising security scenario in the state,” a statement issued by Raj Bhawan said.
During the hour and a half meeting, Srivastava briefed the Governor about various aspects of the obtaining security situation in the state.
The Director General, CRPF was accompanied by the Special Director General, CRPF, J&K Zone, NK Tripathi; IG, CRPF, Srinagar, PVK Reddy and IG, CRPF, Operations, Kashmir, Dr NC Asthana.
