Overburdened innocence

This refers to the article titled “Overburdened innocence” by Dr Faiz Fazili (GK June 10). The author has very rightly tried to draw a sketch of our society, its culture and unhealthy competition prevalent among our younger generation. It is really very unfortunate that, today, for most of people life means nothing more than a competition, qualifying exams and achieving higher ranks. Such state of affairs prevalent in our society only reflects our ‘struggle for existence’ and ‘survival of the fittest’.
