Why did DG CRPF leave?

Srinagar, June 27: The special Director General of paramilitary CRPF, N K Tripathy, left the Valley a few hours before his men killed another youth at Sopur in north Kashmir on Sunday.
“He was under instructions from higher ups to stay in the Valley till situation improved. He defied the orders and left for Jammu in the afternoon,” sources said.
According to PTI Tripathy is a Madhya Pradesh cadre IPS officer who was never given any sensitive positing in the state. Before being sent to JK on his first ever-central deputation he was the Transport Commissioner in MP.
