Change your attitude: Geelani to police
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, June 2: Emphasizing attitudinal change in state police, Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Wednesday said the force was part of the society and it should refrain from using repressive measures against their brethren.
Addressing people at Khwaja Bagh Varmul, he said Israel was treating Palestinians like India treated Kashmiris.
He said the Muslim countries had confined themselves to passing condemnation resolutions while America had adopted double standards.
“Being slaves of America, the Muslim rulers desist from adopting joint stand against Israel,” he said.
He condoled the demise of father of Nazir Ahmed Quershi.
Geelani visited Nadihal and led the Nimazi-Jinazah of Abdul Kabir Quershi.
