Police officials summoned

`JKCA Chairman untraceable’

GK NEWS NETWORK

Jammu, June 2: Taking strong note of the report filed by Residency Road Police Post on a summon issued against J&K Cricket Association Chairman, Muhammad Aslam Goni, who is also a former Advocate General and Political Advisor to Union Minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah, a local court has asked the concerned police officers to remain present in the court to explain their position.

Special Mobile Magistrate Passenger Tax and Shop Act Jammu had issued summon against Goni in a defamation case. However, the Residence Police Post returned the summon with the observation that Goni was not traceable despite search as it was found that he had shifted from the area to some unknown location.

Taking strong note of the report, the court issued summons against in charge Police Post and a constable to appear personally or through Advocate on June 25.
