Rainy days ahead: Met office

Srinagar, June 2: After few days of sunny weather, the valley will be lashed once again by moderate to light rainfall with snow in upper reaches, Met Office said Wednesday.

The Meteorological office predicted rainfall from tonight till late evening on June 5 with thundershowers at various places. An official of Meteorological Department said that due to the western disturbances, “there will be moderate rainfall with snow in upper reaches.”

The office has asked the people to be cagey while travelling in upper reaches especially towards Zojilla on Srinagar-Leh Highway.
