MIRWAIZ TAKES ON CM

‘HE IS TALKING NEW DELHI’S LANGUAGE’

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, June 29: The Chairman of Hurriyat Conference (M), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, on Tuesday lashed out the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, for “justifying” the recent killings by the paramilitary CRPF in the Valley.
“Instead of expressing anguish and concern over the innocent killings the Chief Minister has chosen to side with forces. His assertion that people will be dealt with sternly for instigating the forces proves that he is talking in New Delhi’s language and he is least bothered about what common Kashmiris face,” Mirwaiz told Greater Kashmir over phone.
He said the state government had handed over the law and order to CRPF. “The government is acting as a mere spectator and seems powerless.” Mirwaiz added.
He accused New Delhi of orchestrating the “genocide” of Kashmiris. “CRPF killing three more youth in Islamabad on Tuesday clearly indicates that they have been given a free hand to kill Kashmiris at will. Forces are targeting youth in a particular age group to break the resolve of the youngsters. New Delhi knows it very well that youngsters have taken over the Kashmir movement at they have the will and courage to take the movement to its logical end,” Mirwaiz added.
