KU to clash with JU in final

Srinagar, June 4: Kashmir University will lock horns with Jammu University in the final of the All India Vice-Chancellors T-20 cricket cup on Saturday.
 On Friday semi-finals were played in which Kashmir University and Jammu University emerged winners.
 In first semi-final, Kashmir University defeated Jamia Millia by five wickets. Batting first Jamia scored 126 runs in the allotted 20-overs for the loss of seven wickets. For KU, skipper Sajid Dar took three wickets conceding just 18 runs.
 In reply KU achieved the target in 18 overs for the loss of five wickets. Samiullah scored unbeaten 45 while Sajid Dar scored 40. Sajid for his all round performance was adjudged as man of the match.
 In second match Jammu University thrashed Mumbai University by 127 runs. Batting first JU scored 200 runs in the allotted 20-overs. In reply Mumbai team was bundled out for 73 runs only. Rajkumar for 62 runs was adjudged as man of the match.
 The final would be played on Saturday, which will start at 10:30 am.
