Painful this
This refers to one of the bloodiest tragedies our valley has ever witnessed. What happened at Shopian evoked very strong resentment amongst all the classes of civil as well as political society in Kashmir. People from all walks of life registered their protest against the tragedy. The enquiry committees constituted confirmed and denied foul play. Meanwhile we came across a gruesome murder of three innocents at the hands of security forces at Machil in a fake encounter. One fails to understand why such grave human rights violations are termed as mere incidents in this part of world and only after the agitation of people the politicians wake up. The state should understand that such dastardly acts would definitely erode the faith of people in the state institutions.
