Prof Farooq is new Dean Physical Sciences

Srinagar, June 4: Eminent Astrophysicist, Professor Farooq Ahmad presently Head department of Physics and Director, North Campus , Kashmir University has been appointed Dean Faculty of Physical and Material Sciences, a KU handout said.
 “Professor Farooq a Ph. D from Osmania University, Hyderabad has worked outside the country in number of research institutes like ICTP, Trieste, Italy, Space Telescope Science Institute ,Marry Land, USA and Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge University , UK,” it added.
