IT importance

This refers to the importance of information technology highlighted in a Kashmir University workshop recently. According to him, IT can provide futuristic business tools and incredible business environment. It is absolutely clear that IT has immense value in the modern world. IT has certainly brought revolution in the whole world. But on the other hand IT has a very limited scope in Kashmir valley. We have thousands of students who have done MCA, B. Tech, M. Tech and various professional degrees in information technology. But they are jobless as they don’t have multinational companies, 5 star hotels and other companies who could absorb them. Let’s hope these companies come to the Valley and employ the IT professionals.
