Woman strangulated at Sopur
GHULAM MUHAMMAD
Sopur, June 7: A 22-year-old female teacher was strangulated by unidentified persons at Seelo here on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Gulshan Akther, daughter of Muhammad Akbar of Gundbarhat.
SP Sopur, Altaf Ahmed Khan said police had registered case and a manhunt had been launched.
2 commit suicide
Two persons committed suicide in valley.
A youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence at Andoo Achabal in South Kashmir’s Islamabad. The deceased has been identified as Shakeel Ahmad Khan son of Sharief Ahmad Khan.
In another incident, Mufeed Ahmad Bakal son of Noor-ud-Din of New Colony Lal Bazaar set himself ablaze. He was shifted to SKIMS, Soura where he succumbed to injuries.
