Langer brings laurels to J&K

Srinagar, June 8: Bringing laurels to his state, Akhil Langer from J&K has bagged “President of India Gold Medal” from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), a statement here said.
He topped in all the Streams amongst 568 Students by getting CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of 9.76 in B. Tech. (Computer Science), the result of which was declared recently. To his credit, Akhil topped right from 1st year to 4th year examinations of the Institute and is the first IIT Gold Medalist of Jammu & Kashmir State.
Having topped in Army School Kaluchack, Jammu in CBSE 10th Class, he finished his Senior Secondary Examination by securing 93 per cent marks before he could make his way in IIT Roorkee by claiming an All India Rank of 726 which itself was remarkable. Langer son of an eminent Industrialist belongs to a very sober & social family.
