America is going against their own history
This refers to the article titled “The Lady Qaeda” by Hassan Zainagariee (GK 05-03-2010). I completely agree with the author’s view. The American administration has not gone fully through its history. They must go through their history once again which says Americans were once fighting for their rights against England. Then came a time when the American thinker Thomas Jafferson stressed their right to rebellion against the tyrannical English rule which very often infringed their right to life and liberty. He wrote “the declaration of the independence” on July 4, 1776. It said:
“We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights that among these are – life, liberty and pursuit of happiness”. At the time of their independence in 1783 they established a truly Democratic Republic based on the triple ideals of liberty, equality and fraternity. These ideals did not remain confined to their nation. Other nations also got inspired with them. Now, where has that liberty, equality and fraternity gone? Did they ever try to be liberal? No, not so far. Today they are infringing other nations mostly the Muslim ones. Why the American court verdict has shown that to be a Muslim and a Pakistani are the two `crimes' sufficient enough to kill someone.
