‘Increase age-bar’

Srinagar, Mar 10: A delegation of unemployed youth on Wednesday appealed the Entrepreneurship Development Institute and its management to increase the age bar for availing the benefit of self-employment schemes. The delegation said the EDI had kept the age bar for SK Employment Programme for youth as 37 years. “Due to the conflict and lack of employment opportunities we have lost many years and have become over-aged. We make a fervent appeal to the authorities to increase the age bar by 2-3 years in larger interest of the unemployed youth,” they said.
