Sakina caught on wrong foot
GK NEWS NETWORK
Jammu, Mar 13: The Minister for Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo was caught on wrong foot, Saturday when the PDP member Rafi Mir objected to her claim of taking in confidence the public representative in the course of measures to ensure effective implementation of social welfare schemes.
The MLA asked her to cite the reasons why he was denied invitation at a departmental awareness camp in his home constituency and a defeated candidate from NC was made to preside over the camp.
After the minister failed to give a satisfactory reply, the speaker Muhammad Akbar Lone intervened and suggested to invite public representatives whenever the minister hold such functions.
