Dr Naik just couldn’t make his point!
This refers to the letter titled “NDTV show” by Shoaib Rigoo. Blaming Barkha Dutt for the mess is no argument. I completely disagree with the assertion that Dr Zakir Naik was not given a fair chance to talk. Mr Rigoo! It wasn’t the question-answer session going on. It was a debate where every participant was supposed to make his point clearly and briefly. Mr Naik was the most knowledgeable person in the panel as far the topic of discussion (Islam) was concerned. He should have dominated the show. Madani sahib wasn't given a chance to talk, but he made his point. He made a valid assertion that a Muslim can't be a moderate or orthodox but a simple Muslim. It’s very sad on
the part of Mr Naik that instead of speaking up like he does on the
Peace TV, he acted as a mute spectator. The real fact isn't that he wasn't given a chance to speak but the fact is that he didn't come up to what was expected from him.
