Power-cuts: Where is PDD?

This refers to frequent power cuts in Kashmir Valley. There is reportedly four-hour power cut in metered areas and six-hour in Shahr-e-Khaas. But the situation is worse in villages. Why is the Power Development Department silent over all this? Why has it failed to power round-the-clock power supply to all areas, including the metered ones? The Government must ask the PDD authorities to explain the factual position of the power scenario in the Valley.
