Don’t raise
This refers to the letter by Shoaib M. Gani regarding the Government’s proposed move to increase the retirement age of its employees. I agree with him. A majority of the employees are of the view that 35 years should be the maximum service period. The Government must come up with a way out. Such a move shall also undo the mischief of certain employees who have manipulated their DoBs through dubious and unfair means.
