When Moulana Masoodi was heckled at Khanqah-e-Moula

This refers to the article titled “Books I Wait For” by Z G Muhammad (GK 01-03-2010). I would like to ask Z G Muhammad that why he remained silent since 1989 regarding the views expressed by Moulana Masoodi about the various events of our history. I think it has lost its importance now as Moulana Sahib died some fifteen years back. Moulana Masoodi started his political career from Muslim Conference stage. Later on he was in the forefront of its dissolution and assisted Sheikh Sahib to establish National Conference. I remember very well that he was heckled at Khanqah-e-Moula in 1953, where he had come to address a protest meeting against the arrest of Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah. People labeled him a conspirator and did not allow him to speak. In 1977, he founded Janta Party over-here, which was defector Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). Thus he wanted to settle old scores with Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah. Thank God people rejected such politicians and voted for separate identify. In short he has remained controversial all along his political career.
