Communication source
This refers to the article titled "Media, Muslims and Misfortune" (GK Feb 13) by Muzamil Naqshbandi wherein he has said that there is a lot of distorted information available online about Islam. I would like to add something. First, there are many sects in Islam. What you might think is convenient may not be convenient to someone else. We are responsible for that and we need to unite to make Islam stronger. Regarding the "real manipulated" information, I think it hardly counts for 20% information available online.
There are many benefits of internet when it comes to spreading Islam. If you want to get an answer, you can just search it and look for the reference or you can post the question online and within a day, you will get a good answer. I think that Internet is the fastest source of communication. The main reason for misunderstandings regarding Islam is that we don't' have well recognized international media. And all the famous media is directly or indirectly controlled by the West. We need to invest in our media to get the required results. For how long shall we blame others?
