13 Kg ganja recovered

Jammu: Police claimed to have recovered 13 kilograms of ‘ganja’ from an abandoned bag near Jammu Railway Station on Saturday.
 Police sources told Greater Kashmir that on a tip off police laid a special naka at Railway Station Jammu, this morning, and subjected every passer-by to severe frisking.
 The cops, later in the day, found an abandoned hand bag outside the gate of SRTC yard, they said adding, one being checked it was found to be carrying two polythene packets containing 6.30 kilograms of ganja each.
 “Some drug peddler had left the bag after finding himself in trouble due to intensified vigil,” police claimed adding, “We have launched a man hunt to nab the drug peddler”.
