658 posts of lab assistants, bearers created

Jammu: The Government has created 658 posts of laboratory assistants and laboratory bearers for 137 high schools and 94 higher secondary schools.
 This was revealed by the Education Minister, Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed in Legislative Council today.
 He said 816 posts of teachers in Kashmir division including 140 posts of teachers in Kupwara had been referred to SSB for selection. He said from 2002 till date, 4199 new primary schools had been opened and in addition, 5230 primary schools, 613 middle schools and 373 HSS had been upgraded to the level of upper primary and high schools.
 He said under SSA, the construction of 4242 schools, 616 middle school, 937 ACRs, 29BRCs and 85 CRC buildings were in progress.
