Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front, at a meeting held here today with its chairman, Muhammad Yaseen Malik in chair, paid glowing tributes to Shaheed-e-Kashmir Ashfaq Majeed Wani, Shaheed-e-Hikmat Dr Abdul Ahad Guroo and Shaheed-e-Insaf advocate Jalil Ahmad Andrabi.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik said these great martyrs would remain as three minarets in the history of Kashmir’s freedom struggle. “March 27, would be observed as Yoom-e-Shahadat of advocate Jalil Andrabi and Quran Khawani would be organized at all the Front offices. The martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed-e-Kashmir, Ashfaq Majeed Wani will be observed on March 30 and a condolence meeting will be held at Martyrs’ Graveyard, Eid Gah, here. April 1, will be observed as the martyrdom day Shaheed-e-Hikmat Dr Abdul Ahad Guroo and a blood donation camp will be organized at Hamid Blood Bank, Abi Guzar here,” said Front spokesman in a statement.
Meanwhile, Front leaders, led by Showkat Ahmad Bakshi visited the residence of slain militant Parvaiz Ahmad Dar alias Musharraf at Malangpora in South Kashmir and expressed solidarity with his family.
Meanwhile, Front has expressed sorrow over the demise of the grandfather of Javid Ahmad Malik, associate editor, Greater Kashmir and sympathized with the bereaved.
