Jaleel's Anniversary Bar Seminar on Mar 27

Srinagar: The High Court Bar Association is organising a seminar on the 14th death anniversary of noted human rights activist, Advocate Jaleel Andrabi on March 27.
 The seminar “Role of Intelligentsia For Resolution of Kashmir Dispute” will be held at Sadder Court Complex, here.
 Jaleel Andrabi, a lawyer and prominent rights activist was kidnapped by army and later killed in 1996.
 The Bar said that on the 14th anniversary, the work shall remain suspended in all the Courts.  It asked its members to participate in the prayer meeting and the seminar as per the schedule.
 The Bar has demanded arrest and prosecution of the accused Major Avtar Singh at an earliest. An FIR No.139/96 of Police Station Saddar under sections 302,365,364,201 RPC is pending disposal before the CJM Court against the accused.
