RTI activist meets Governor

Srinagar, Mar 25: A deputation led by Dr Muzaffar Bhat, a Right to Information activist, called on the Governor, N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here today. The deputation discussed with the Governor the measures for strengthening the RTI movement in the State. They also brought some RTI related cases to the notice of the Governor and sought his urgent intervention for the redressal.
 The deputation comprised BA Malla, a Human Rights activist, and an elderly couple from Maharajgunj area of Srinagar city who presented a petition seeking the Governor’s help to trace their missing sons. The Governor gave a patient hearing to the deputation.
