Killing birds
This refers to the news “Massacre of migratory birds in Valley wetlands'(GK March 23).The gruesome and unabated killing of migratory birds by some poachers is a matter of concern. It is quite surprising to note that the Wildlife Department officials are doing nothing but watching this mayhem as mute spectators. It seems that there is some nexus between poachers and wildlife officials. Let the Department wake up and take necessary action in this regard.
